• Dog and Cat Travel and Risk Information (DACTARI) - Scheme set up in the UK by DEFRA that aims to report any exotic diseases of dogs and cats, but focuses on four main ones, Leishmaniasis, Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, and Dirofilariasis.
• Marine Mammal Health and Stranding Response Program - Aims to facilitate collection and dissemination of data, to assess health trends in marine mammals, to correlate health with available data on physical, chemical, environmental, and biological parameters, and to coordinate effective responses to unusual mortality events.
• Marine Mammal Health Care Program - Maintains the health of the US Navy's marine mammals.
• MARVET - Offers an introductory course in marine mammal medicine for veterinary students and veterinarians.
• Veterinary Surveillance: Camelids - Provides information on the guanacos, vicunas, llamas and alpacas in the UK and about keeping a lookout for infectious diseases.
