Organizations

• The Clean Air Action Group (Levegő Munkacsoport) - Organization focused on sustainable transport, sustainable energy policy, sustainable urban development, protection of green areas in cities.
• Energy Club (Energia Klub) - Organization aiming to minimize the environmental and social problems stemming from energy production and use; includes publications, education, and a quiz.
• Hungarian Environmental Partnership (Ökotárs Alapítvány) - Focused on stimulating citizen participation around the badly damaged environment in the region.
• Nimfea Nature Conversation Association - One of the biggest organizations of the Trans-Tiszanian region, with more than a thousand members, 13 well operating member organizations and one central office in Túrkeve to ensure the fluent operation.
• Waste Management Working Group (HuMuSz) - Alliance of 18 Hungarian environmental groups. Its main purpose is to educate Hungarian citizens in environmental issues, change their attitudes to waste and consumer issues.
